Editorial policy

We sell nothing. peptidesmedia is funded entirely by advertising, and we take no revenue from product sales, vendor sponsorships, or affiliate links. No company can pay to be covered, reviewed favourably, or left alone. Our only obligation is to readers.

Every factual claim is traceable to a primary source — peer-reviewed literature via PubMed, regulatory records from the FDA and the Federal Register, and guidance from the NIH and other public-health bodies. We link the source for each claim so readers can check our work rather than take it on trust. Where evidence is weak or absent, we say so plainly.

This is enforced, not merely intended: a citation outside that set of sources prevents the article from publishing. Community forums are where we find reader questions, never where we source claims.

Clinical articles are reviewed by a licensed physician for medical accuracy before publication. Each reviewed piece carries the reviewer’s name and a visible last-reviewed date. Articles are re-reviewed at least annually, and sooner whenever regulation, evidence, or safety signals change.

We grade evidence by what kind of study supports a claim and how strong it is — from controlled human trials at the top, through observational data, to preclinical and anecdotal reports at the bottom. We never let a mechanism or an animal study stand in for proof of benefit in people, and every claim is labelled with the kind of evidence behind it.

Some distinctions are too important to blur. We hold three firm lines:

• Compounding is not approval. A compounded peptide being available is not the FDA finding it safe or effective.
• FDA status is not WADA status. A substance's drug-regulatory standing says nothing about whether it is banned in sport.
• We give no self-administration directives. We report on what regulators and evidence say; we never tell readers to take, dose, or source a peptide.

Every published page carries a byline that resolves to a real, sanctioned identity. A page with no byline does not publish.

We use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, and editing, but every published article is written, fact-checked, and approved by named human editors. AI does not make editorial or medical-accuracy decisions, and no article is published on a model’s say-so.
